May

Patriotic Placemat:  A simple, easy project you will want to make more, more and more.  All you need is a kitchen towel with a design on both ends of the towel, 1 yard of fabric, coordinating or complimentary color thread, rotary cutter, ruler, straight pins, sewing machine in good working order with a new needle.

June

Chinese Take-Out Box:  What a great way to package that special gift.  Not only is it different but can be reused for so many other things.  The supplies needed for this project include,  2 coordinating fabrics (1/2 yd ea), 1/2 yard Timtex, complimentary color thread, rotary cutter, ruler, straight pins, sewing machine in good working order with a new needle.

July

Beach Bag:  This is a great bag to take to the beach.  Not only can it carry lots of necessities and goodies, but then use the bag to cover your beach chair.  You need 1 large beach towel and 5/8 yard of fabric.

August

Snap Bag:  Make any size bag that has thousands of uses.  Snap bag is simple, easy and a fantastic gift.  You will need a fat quarter of fabric.  Pattern and everything else is provided.

September

Snuglet:   What better way to wrap up and keep warm during those cold, winter months?  This is a very simple project that can be complete in no time.  Plus, they make wonderful gifts, too.  You will need 2 1/2 yards of fleece.

October

North American Hand Smocking:  This is such a great technique with thousands of uses.  Once you learn to do this, you will want to use it for everything.  You will need 1-yard of fabric, hand sewing needle and coordinating thread.

November

Quick/Easy Coasters:  Here is another great idea for gift giving, which is quick, easy, and a great way to use up some of your stash.  The supplies needed for this project include, two to four coordinating fabrics (1/4 yd of each), 1/3 yd polyester batting (not suitable for cotton batting), neutral color thread, rotary cutter, ruler, straight pins, and sewing machine in good working order with a new needle.
